JD 60 Crankshaft in a 44 A?

Like the title says. Will a 60 crank work in a 44 JD A? Are they the same stroke? Wanting a longer stroke crank before I have the block bored for larger pistons.

dont think it will work ..late a crank has same 6.75 stroke as 60 thou

Where would I look for a used Stroker crank? Do you trust used cast pistons?

i dont think it will be just a drop in it could probably be done but why? you already have 6.75 in a 44 model.

thought the governor gear was different also????

get a hold of josh blackburn he could make you a 7.5 crank and you wont have to do alot to make it fit
