building a H farmall for pulling which is better a 12 volt or wowld a 6 volt syatem be ok still want to use generator so it looks original

You asked tow questions.
1) the 12 volt system would be better, if for no other reason than it has more power and will have fewer problems.
2) A 6 volt system will work if you use top quality heavy gage cables and make sure all of the wlwctrical connections are clean and tight.

In the long run you will probably be happier with the 12 volt system, but it's your decision.
