When transporting your tractors on flat bed trailers, where do you guys secure your weights, on the tractor? Any one have a method of securing them to the trailer..?

Thanks.

I always leave mine on the tractor... However there is a bunch of
guys around here that have weight brackets mounted on the front
of their trailer...

i leave my weights on the back and the side of the tractor during transport, but the front weights are removed and hauled in the pick-up.if the front bracket broke when hauling, the weights would be on the ground.

The jumping and jarring while hauling on a trailer is way way worse than any pass down the pulling track. Especially if you are going any long distance or are blessed with the roadways we have out here. I built a pair of racks that slide into the stake pocket holes of the trailer. This way you can move them around front to back depending on your load. You do have to handle the weights more but it takes all the strain off the tractor and its brackets.

Just leave them on the tractor who cares, I've had 6k in weights hanging all over my tractor and have not had one fall off on the trailer yet.
