On a John Deere 730 diesel Bendix injectors with 12thousandth 6 hole orfices with 140 degree spray pattern how much should a person have the cracking pressures bumped up i know stock pressure is around 2600psi and i was wondering about the bosh pumps should i have them rebuilt with the bigger plungers or will the stock 13mm plungers rebuilt be sufficient enough to provide enough fuel with a ported and pollished intake manifold and head with stainless steal 830 valves with a 5 angle seat grind

Where can I get in touch with someone who sells 15mm pumps?

If you adjust the rack on a dyno. You will find that power stops increasing even though fuel flow continues to be increased.
Work on the airflow instead or a place to hide a NOS system.
I had a link on here one time to an antique engine site that listed pumps by body size/stroke and the various internal elements .
The 13mm pump and 6x12 tips are lots for any natural aspirated 730.

I put injectors in my 720 in '05, they have higher cracking pressure and a tad more advance. Don't remember what the hole diameter or the spray angle. Would have to contact the guy who built them.

Later I got a set of 13.5mm pumps from the same place. Together they put more than enough for a 720, I have the rack closed way down. They would be more suited for an 820.

Please email me at gpuller at hot mail dot com, we can talk more about the pumps. Plus I'd like to ask you some questions about the 830 valves in a 720/30 head.

There are 15mm pumps out there... I don't think we increased the pressure much... been a while since we played with the 2 cylinders diesels
