(quoted from post at 06:04:10 01/02/13) it all depends on what you are doing with the tractor. for putsing around the yard stop and go ... yes. but in the field working under full load its d16 as the tractor came from factory with. i use mine in the field also.
everyone jumps on the band wagon and bashes champions all the time without giving a reason or any proof of plug failures. i tryed both and have better luck with champions.
another example i have is... i bought a massey 44 on auction sale they did not start it. i then started it and it was missing but what to do now, so i started to drive it home about 60 miles. it just kept missing and only running on 2 cyl's. so i drove into another farmers yard and asked if he had any old spark plugs i could buy cause i saw he had a d case sitting there. he gave me 2 used d16's from that case and i put them in the massey that had autolites which 2 were dead . then the massey ran like a top all the way home. paid 400.00 for the massey and drove it home 60 miles.
