MOVING SEAT?

My seat post is straight down from seat and 9" behind center of axle. Needing more wieght on nose in 3500# class with a 250# driver. If I would relocate seat so post would be directly over center of axle, how much would it help my front weight problem? I know there is a way to
calculate but I'm not smart enough to figure out.
Thanks guys for any help.

Moving 250# 9 inches forward would be the same as putting 17# at 11' in front of the rear axle (assuming the standard 11' weight bracket rule). This also assumes that the seat and driver also moves the same 9" forward. If you are going to just angle the seat post and the seat/driver remains in the existing location you'll gain nothing.
