Sorry for the slowness, anyway I have assumed you have a 12v - ground system so here is how it should be hooked. The power coming from your ignition switch needs to be hooked to the + side of your coil as well as your red wire heading into the module. The black wire from your coil needs to go to the - side of the coil. If all that is correct and still no spark install your voltmeter(this may sound wrong) red lead to - side of coil and black lead to a good ground with the module hooked up. Have your buddy crank the tractor and read what the meter says.0 volts is a wiring problem. 1 to 3 volts is a bad module. What you want to see is a fluctuating signal between 1.5 and 12 volts.
