John Deere 730d dry air filter ?

If my stock oil bath system is clean will I gain any power by switching to a dry element. who have you guys used to get the conversion kit from?

Even gutted empty, the canister itself is very restricted. It snakes the air around in several directions. A clamp on k&n style oiled cotton filter or there's dry paper ones like that too. Will gain you several hp on a dyno. If your working it long hrs in dust i think the paper style might stop more dirt but they are more restrictive.

I have heard of guys gutting the stock housing and using a filter that fits a late(side console)
3020 diesel.
