KK aluminum Flatback?

I would look at the ones made from Tim here on the site. I can't remember his name here on the site (I think its TLH). I purchased one from him, and although have yet to install it, the quality is there! A very nice unit

yes i got one for a 48,been very happy with it. there are 2 types, early flat backs an latter with seat mtg on later ones.

You have a K&K one? Any pics? My tractor was box seat but I just switched it over too a pan need rear cover now... Would like to see some pics if possible...

Ah man, you should have looked at tims too! Mine is aluminum, and has the pulling hitch built in (fully adjustable steel piece). Anyways goodluck!

Pricing depends on what you want. I can build aluminum or steel, with or without hitch, & with or without seat mount. We have many out across the US. Give me a call. Thanks for the recommendations. Tim Harlin- 763-350-0555

K&K has both types of rear covers the unstyled and the battery on top style. You have to drill the holes and you just lay a old cover against the back and drill away. There"s not enough aluminum to have it milled out and use it on the dyno it but you can install one so it looks function able and all I have seen have a part number on them..

I just got mine in the mail tonight I switched my G to a pan seat so that is the one I bought. Yours looks like it has 3 bolts and a cover where the PTO comes out? Mine is just a around chunk of Iron... Also did you tap yours and put a plug in it for an oil fill? Mine just has the shelf there? I will be interested to see what you say about the pto spot...

JohnDeereJimOhio, I made a plate out of sheet metal and tapped three 3/8" fine thread bolts into the aluminum so it looked like a plate to block off the factory steel flatbacks pto opening. On the plug to fill and check the fluid I got a pvc 1 1/4" plug from Lowes and drilled the hole with a hole saw and tapped to 1 1/4 national pipe thread so it all looks stock. If you want some up close photos send me a email and I will get you what you need.

JDMarkb I sent you an email if you could send me a couple close up pics that would be greatly appreciated. That plate looks a lot better then how it comes from k&k... Im still happy with the product though...

Jim, I don't know what I was thinking when we were talking on the phone the other day. I do have an aluminum flatback on my G. So there is the weight difference between our two tractors right there.

Does anyone know of a fabricator that makes a flatback with a useable provision for a pto? The local club requires one for dyno purposes.
