Hi everyone I'm in the process of building Moline G705. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there that would be willing to share pictures how they built there weight brackets and hitch set up. I'm also looking at redoing the drivers plateform and taking the stock fenders off. I want to get this tractor down to 6500 running on propane. If yall got any insist I'm willing to listen. Thank happy winter building. |

| Nice looking hitch, but dangerous for obvious reasons. |

| Why? Is it the adjusters above the axle? Mine are too. Thats silly if that is all thats wrong. Do not believe that is a safety issue in my opinion if built strong enough and right. If this is who I think it is, this tractor and setup is just fine! |

| it's also silly to have to walk around the pull the rest of the day with squishy pants because the hitch broke and the front end stood straight up! That hitch could easily be converted to use adjuster bolts above and below the drawbar like the U hitch pictured below, pulling off the Farmall wishbone is another accident waiting to happen, NE Nebraska Pullers won't let you pull off of it, atleast not at Norfolk |

| | Yes, top mounts for the adjusters. Have personally witnessed two hitch setups like this fail and have the tractor stand up on the tip bars. Luckily the drivers were unharmed. We don't have a rule against it in our pull. |

Look at the geometry. The lower attach points are behind the hitch point so a lifting chain has no leverage against those adjusters, which are of very adequate size. I have seen adjusters bent and front tires 8 feet in the air too, but the hitch point was a foot behind the support point and the supports were 1/3 the size of the ones in the picture. This same guy that went straight up had nice retractable wheelie bars and he had them retracted. |

| I have 9 bolt hubs to fit your tractor. They are splined to fit your axles no welding. |

| Hey, I recognize that U picture. That stuff came out of my shop. I have a couple more sets of those irons cut out, just need somebody to sell them to, or enough time to stick them on this new GVI I bought. Jeff |

| I know a guy in Eastern Ohio that has a hitch/wheelie bar setup on a rear end that"s just lying around in his shop, maybe he"d sell it, or at least send you some pics...belly brackets are simple, use my design...or I may have an extra lying around too LOL |

| If you're a HOOK subscriber, you'll likely get your fill in the next few issues about a G705. Its been super slow for me to get anything done but I think things are about to pick up in redoing some things, from the hitch to the front end... |

| Appreciate the offer Tim, the hitch and wheelie bars are already waiting, once they're on I hope to get it down the track in a horse arena or two this winter nearby. |
