The 77 RC. Holds I guess 4.5 gals of #90. How much less can I run for pulling only, and what weight should I run? Also can I foam the bottom of the trans -diff. without any problems?, If so how much oil would be used then? Thanks for any help. |

| I suppose you could try that, but why not cut weight in other places besides putting your drivetrain at risk? What weight classes are you trying to get into? A 77 with band brakes, 66 narrow front, no pto, no hyd, pressed steel rims, lighter seat and no fenders should be able to make 3500#. |

| If you are really serious put some moly in your oil and drain it all out just before you go weigh! Then put it all back in for the next heavier class. A GB guy told me he drains all the rear end oil and runs no water in the engine. Wins a lot. LOL Vic |
