How does someone with no $ have a 40,000 mile vehicle? And i too would expect it to have warranty? Good luck i dont envy you, btdt . I hope they are as much in need of the help as the helper is generous. It sucks getting used but there is great pride & reward in helping those truly in need :-)

I wouldn't be too quick to judge. A lot of people have hit hard times in this economy, and do not have two pennies to rub together. Yet they still have the same amount of debt as they did before they got laid off from a good job that allowed them afford a home and a newer vehicle.

Or you could be like me and get t-boned and rolled multiple times by a lady who ran a stop sign. That has now lost his job and still has multiple surgeries ahead. I can not work, and not allowed to lift more than a coffee cup. I was three miles from home driving down the road with my wife and daughter minding our own business, and BAM!!!

Like I say, I wouldn't judge from afar.

Right you are there, both good points! Didnt mean to sound judgemental, just wondering what happened i guess & hoping he doesnt get used. I often help people with things myself & like i said it feels great most of the time, once in awhile it really sucks when you get taken. I myself have taken a 50% pay cut since the crash. I have also been on the negging side of the situation. Apologies if i sounded judemental. These things are best discussed in person it seems. Text can come out wrong alot more often.
