Is there a difference in a ring gear in a 140 verse a A,B,BN ? I heard the 140 is a lower ratio. |

| Are you running Big tires? If you do swap in the 140 gears make sure you use the reverse idler from the 140 and the oil slinger gear too |

| Not running big tires. Just pulling dead weight so looking for a lower 1st gear. I currently have it tore down for bearings in the trans sounds like a good time to switch. Any body have a 1st gear set for sale? |

| | No, it has the same 13T pinion and 54T ring gear. The difference is in the 1st gear set. The 140 1st gear set is 14:47 vs. the A,B,BN,100,130 that are 16:45. The rest of the gears in the 140 tranny are the same as the earlier tractors. Zack |
