There are still a few things in my lengthy life that I still sit and ponder. Two of which are 'why the heck would anyone want to put a volvo motor in a tractor and attempt to kill them selves, and the other is who the hell was the fool that sat around and said to himself "wonder what my car would do if i put rocket fuel in it".. How many experimentors bit the dust with this kind of experiements. **LAUGHING***

I'm a member of a club here in our corner of SE Wisconsin that's full of guys with tractors like this. They (for the most part) don't run them terribly hard. We do alot of rides and parades over summer. Most guys put on between 200 and 500 miles per year. More fun than I can explain!! Here's a couple of pics. One is a 8N Ford with what the owner calls a "460 plus" and a Farmall M with a 4-53 T Detroit, and an Oliver 3 speed in it. I'm thinking a Moline with a 3406 Cat or and 8V92 Detroit would keep up lol!

Guys do this because they can. I put a perkins 510 with added turbo's in A Belarus 500 used it for pulling,It goes pretty fast to, it's not how straight it steers thats the problem. Its how much nerve you got to keep pullin the throttle back, I bottled one day at 50mph with more to go.
got a fordson Major here just putting A 2704 ET motor in that be about 200 hp when mildly tuned how I want it. That will go good too.

yea, imagine the for sale ad,,, one hour on major overhaul, needs overhauled. them fords run alright.
