Frame Cutting ?????

Does anyone known how much, and where an Oliver 77 frame can be cut, ground or other wise to lighten it, and still be reliable. Thanks for any good ideas.
 
A 66 front bolster is quite a bit lighter,I don't remember exactly how many LBS. though.I would think that you could cut out some on each side of the pan opening as long as you radius it at each end of the cuts.
