I Know these are not the Most Desireable Case But there Differnt and I Have one to Experment with and I shure dont want to see it end up in CHINA! My thoughts where to just put Pistons in for Now and see how it Worked Then Maby at a later Date Stroke it if it Made Good enough Power! I am Thinking of Doing what I Can on the Head First Then Flow Bench it to See what Cubes the Head will Support! Any Thoughts on the Best Head The Shrouded High Comp or the Open coumbustion Low Comp Head? My Thoughts is the Open low comp would Flow Better because of Less Shrouding! Any Ideas? dboll 11-09-2012 16:48:14 209.23.168.39 Report to Moderator	Re: Case Puller in reply to Cliff S, 11-09-2012 13:00:20   I'm not sure what the head will flow, a friend put valves out of a 260 ford (if I remember correctly) into one years ago, with 3 11/16 pistons for field work, said it would really pull but wasn't easy on gas anymore! You won't need the smaller chamber 5617 head, with increased displacement the 5618 will be fine. John Stek from Oskaloosa ,Ia has an sc built up. The old one at 4x5.5 would make 72 hp or so. I've seen it pull at Sigourney and it ran good. He building a bigger one and was going to sell me the old block but I have too many other projects.   [Reply]  [No Email]

I Grew up on one and allway though it would be something differnt to pull! I been gethering Parts for Tin wheeles etc for a few years but other Projects pushed it Back But Hopefuly i can get a good Start on it this Winter after 3 engines rebuilds and a couple small jobs to do gets done! Sounds like I may end up on 2 nd Shift with O/T on Weekends at work for a wile So working on Tractors will be more the Norm than going to Maney Pulls Next Summer!
