I have a Farmall 450 block. What is the largest bore that can be done? Would like to run high RPMs without having to change stroke, but will if need be.What are some suggestions?

buy a rotating assembly from Murphy's motor service for a 4.310 by 6.75 . no grinding and run 1900 rpm forever at about 120 hp.

Have you done a Murphy's motor at 6.75" of stroke? Just wondering about the "zero grinding". When I asked Jeff about zero grinding at 6.75", he said that he couldn't guarantee there wouldnt be some grinding required.

you can go to 4 3/8 bore no sleeves....if you drop a little 6 inch stroker you would be at 360ci no ginding and can use stock rods

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. How much are you asking for the short block? Who is the motor builder if there is one?
