F gleaner combine with 262 Buda engine

The guy I work for has an old F gleaner combine that runs good. The later models had I think a 292 chevy motor but the old models like ours has the 262 Buda engine. I think it is about the same as a D19 gas motor. Is there any demand for this gas engine as we don't use it any more. The last time we ran it was about 2 months ago.

The combine and motor are in North Central Missouri. Near Brookfield Missouri.

I know of one that re-powered a cockshutt 40 for pulling. Works good.

Yes there is some demand, they will fit in a Cockshutt 40 with a few minor mods. I would love to have it,if it was closer.

it is the same motor as the d-19, just painted grey instead of orange.
lots of people put them in Cockshutt 40 and 50s, doesn't take a ton of work and you get 70+ horse stock.

I bought a 262 belive it was from a f. It was orange. They only used the 262 a couple of the first years . Put mine into co-op E4
