Heard there is a new diesel class that is going to start running in Ohio.. I was told it will be a cheeper div 5. All I was told was it was going to be 6500lbs and 480ci motor limit. But I didn't hear anything else about it. Does anyone have any info of this new class and what all the rules will be?

No, I believe most of the buzz has been over bringing LLSS (NOT an antique only class)to Ohio similar to what is run in Kentucky, New York and Michigan among others. Yes, 380 CID for diesel, single slotted 3x4 charger. There is also an alcohol option 370 CID smooth 3x4 charger. Big discussion on pulloff.com board a week ago for more details. Been a long time coming IMHO and I hope it does get established.

The buzz is about a Light Limited Super Stock class, and the rules posted have 479ci, 3x3 charger no intercooler limit for diesel, 370ci and a 3x4 charger, no intercooler for Alky or a 410ci diesel with a 3x4 and a cooler or a 315ci diesel with twin 3x4s and a cooler. The buzz is long overdue and hopefully will bridge the gap between KY and NY in terms of this class exploding in popularity, since the thread on pulloff.com stated that the Western Pa. sanctioning body is waiting to see if this class pans out before offering on their circuit as well. Should be interesting. That twin charger 3x4 w/ a cooler really opens the door for tractor models that haven't seen a sanctioned pulling track in decades.
