Head re-work

Im looking into redoing the head on my 260 in my MH. I think it might have been milled, how could ya tell from the outside, is there away to measure the thickness. What would be recommended to do on this head for pulling? thanks

On the front of the head under the radiator hose where the two 3/8 studs come up through, the original thickness should be 3/8 inch.

how big is your motor? port and polish is almost always beneficial, as well as milling head for compression. other suggestions depend on size of motor.
