Got a farmall m thats puting down about 85hp. Will turn 3000rpms. But when i get about 3/4 of the way down the track it just pulls down and will die. I had a old m and it would lug out a full pull. Think timing could be out? Just trying to get it to lug. Thanks for any help!

Are you sucking the carb dry? Maybe fuel flow is not enough at full throttle for that long. Try hooking a 2 or 3 bottom plow and run it at full power and see if it still does it. If so try 3/4 throttle if it stops bogging down you need more fuel. I found this to be my problem on my JD A. Turned out the fuel bowl on the tank was plugged only enough so it would not run at full throttle.
