What seems to be is that the ladys at the sign up booth said only one hook per tractor. Huh. I seen quit a few of the same tractors pulling twice. Whats with this? Fairboard members maybe? Its either one hook for everybody or two hooks. Make it fair to everyone. Other than that the new track wasnt to bad. It always takes a few years for the tracks to get better when starting out from new. Good show guys. Just gotta get a few kinks worked out.

Thats just the way it seems to be anymore if you're not in the clique with them or your tractor isn't a certain color or brand they don't seem to want you there or you can be allowed til you start winning then their attitudes change REAL quick. regards

I liked the new track as well there was alot better attendance than past years as well. Part of the problem is no one does anything unless there is complaints from fellow pullers. How about that speed limit joke. Other places you get 2 warnings then your done. Alot of them were over 3 or 4 times then there was a 460 going 6 or better the whole way in the 4 mph class. Like you said good pull just a few kinks to work out.

I am just a helper not a fair board member. I WAS VERY UNHAPPY when they let guys double hook. Since I would have gladly did it myself too. When taking phone calls I told about 10 people they could only hook once. As far as the speed limit no 460 ran in the 4 MPH classes. All 4 MPH classes were 1950 and older. Farm 5000 was 5MPH one 460 was D'q another should have been but didn't place anyway. Also an Allis and a Case were D'q in other classes. I can't think of any others who went over??? Every pull I have been to with WILD ROSE and a speed board is a free safety zone then thats it. If you go over your done. Why cant you stay under your speed when you can see it???? I am happy that someone brought up the double hooking. This will help me prove my point to the fair board members. I tried 3 or 4 times to change their mind but they didn't seem to care. Thanks for comming hope to see you again Josh 763 370 1321.

Did the guys that pulled twice get dq"d? Sure didn"t look like it to us. Thgat fair board either has to make it fair to everyone otherwise a lot of people arnt going to show up for the pull. But I was amazed the track was a lot nicer this year. But maybe they should scratch the skidloader idea for grading and have a grader tractor. The wild rose skid usually has a grader bar that they can bring with for the show. Then it would of been a lot smother of a track.

You are correct no they didn't. If I had it my way it wouldn't have happened. I can think of for sure 3 people who did it. I will work on it. I wish we didn't get that little 2 minute shower I think the track would have been alot better. Josh

All in all it will be a better track next year. Usually takes a few years. We will probably be back next year
