The Michigan Shootout is coming up and we are trying to round up a bunch of fellas from different clubs across the state. I think our rules mesh well with Oakley's for the sled and the dead weight pulling. Most of the Clintonia members are Oakley members or visitors every year. Ya'll are welcome to come over any time. There's places to camp for free too! Test and tune all Friday night. Saturday 14th is our regular pull followed by the jackpot at night. Sunday, July 15th following Saturday's Michigan Shootout, CAFPC will be hosting a dead weight pull followed by a steel wheel deadweight pull. Unlike our usual venue of weight classes, we will be pulling "percentage style". The loader will add cement blocks round after round until all pullers are stopped. Pick your tractor's most competitive weight! It's something different and we're hoping it'll mix things up in an entertaining fashion. Call if you need info. This is at the Fowler Conservation club south of M21 and Fowler, MI and north of I96 on Wright Rd. Oh, and let's hope we don't have a huge rain storm at the Oakley show this year.
