Why do a lot of people say to stay away from Denny's Cab
shop? What are the problems guys are having with his
products? I'm looking at his engine kits and just wanted some
feed back. Thank you.

They were good to me when I was sending money, when I called having trouble, I couldn't get past the woman. They sold me a electronic ign and coil. The coil had the wrong resistance. She said I installed it wrong. I called the guy from Colorado who advertises in the Hook. He warrantied the ign even though he never sold it and sent me the right coil. Vic

they are arrogant and do not treat their customers well. i had a friend buy several hundred dollars worth of stuff from him, but when he called denny's back to ask what kind of spark plugs to use denny refused to tell him unless he bought them from him. talk about a poor decision there. him and several others stopped doing business there just because of that.

If you cut his hp claims in half and never call him for help when he cheats you on his over priced parts you'll get along just fine.

Well I've never heard anything bad about Gary Baker, he'll do anything you want and he'll answer anything you need to know. Wouldn't go anywhere else if I was you. He didn't have anything to do with my motor when we built it but answered every question I've had and helped me get it running right. He is the best.

I sold him something, sent pictures, sent it to him with no money exchanging hands and he was still a jerk to put it nicely. I bent over backwards and he threatened to sue me even when he had not given me any money for the item. I picked it up and he is even a horses rear in person. He will find a way to cheat you any way he can. I told him I would put all pictures, letters and information on my wall at the shop so everybody that comes over can see what he is.

I live 20 miles from dennys and wont buy a thing from that man. But I will drive 3+ hrs to go to Gary Bakers. He's the best. And u wont get an attitude if u ask questions.

Before id ever heard of this forum OR dennys. I tried to buy electronic ign & couple carb parts from them over the phone. Rudest business I've EVER spoke with, just really at a loss to even describe the call. I hung up on her before spending a dime, thank God.

Says they give great tech advice over the phone.... LOL

From there website

"TECHNICAL ADVICE TO BUYERS. We supply complete detailed installation instructions with each rebuilt unit. We also supply phone-in technical information support to all buyers of our products. "Trix" are for kids, but "No-Cost" tricks make power!"

Paul marlett knows his stuff also,Guy I pull with had a big M engine done by him and it runs hard.I have been chatting with Ray at extreme tractor and he has been very helpful and patient with a H project I am starting on...he has given me some good info.Lawrence Wilson is also a great guy to deal with nice guy with vast knowledge of a lot of pulling engines.

I agree with Pete.I knew what Pete was up against when he told me he had to go to Fletcher Ohio to pick up something he sold there and the customer wasn't happy with it.Pete didn't want to tell me who it was but I was right on the first guess!!!!!!!If a person says they not happy with someone from Fletcher Ohio that tells you someone delt with Dennys Carb Shop.Pete and I have been on the phone giving me advise on what he has sold me or me making another purchase from him because I trust him.I would never purchase anything from Denny because of rudeness on the phone and he sells alot of junk that doesn't work or he won't back up his products!!!!!I am also personal friends with Gary Baker and he will also take care of his costomers without rudeness or a problem. Pete don't forget the tire you owe me!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL.

Yeah Paul does a good job and builds some tough engines and you can probably have it back by the time you retire if you're not too old.
