How is a MS carb best identified?

Marvel Schebler single barrel carbs on lettered John Deeres usually have the DLTX model stamped into the casting near the intake end.
Two barrel carbs on numbered Deeres usually have a round brass tag on topside of the manifold flange with the DLTX model and year stamped.
M/S TSX carbs on Deere and many other brand tractors and engines sometimes have a brass tag pinned to the casting just under the manifold flange. Some TSX models have an aluminum tag under one of the body screws.
If there is a code book to deciphering TSX model numbering, I'd like to have a copy.
