I am about to acquire an original 1945 JD B, with intensions of turning it into a puller. I need some ideas for bore?, stroke?, cam?, rods?, and any other information that might be helpful. I understand that some people have their secrets, but any information would be appreciated.

I got parts from ray at extreme when i built my '39 b puller. Mine is 5 1/8 by 7 1/4 which is small by todays standards but has been together for years. I'll be interested to know what you decide to go with. Keep us updated.

What wt classes did you pull your '39 "B" in..??

Must have been good..!

I think you can go 1" Larger each way, today..

Saw one like yours pulling in 3,500 and 4,000
2nd gear and won both classes on 12.4" tires..!!
