Farmall 350

I have been looking for a while at getting into pulling a little more seriously than with just playing around with my A. I've always been a little soft for red tractors and have been keeping my eye out for an old M or 400/450 to resurrect into a puller. I found a 350 that would make a perfect candidate. I haven't seen many 300s or 350s pulling and was wondering if they make a decent puller? Are there any upgrades (like putting a 281 into an M)? We have antique and farmstock classes around here and I though it might be fun to build and pull an farmstock tractor.

I pull a 300 it does ok

i would go the route of a H and put a 300 motor with a 350 kit in it and put an m carb on it stronger govenor spring port the head and maybe cut it .100 to boost the compresion would make a good 45-50 hourse tractor with a good machanic, just my thoughts on that size tractor would give you the same power as a 350 and would weight in a bit less than a 350 or 300
