I've got some theories for you to explore, seen some of your work on the big bang theory. You seem to like reciting formulas that blow up, should have some up your way. Have an interesting thin rod ratio, seems to produce side thrust but less BDC dwell. Area 51 type stuff

Well albert its like you never understanding the concept of tieing shoes. All the theories are backed by engineering formulas so we should be in agreement. ps I learned to tie my shoes in kindergarden
Easier to use the "law of cosines"...

c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 4*a*b*cos(angle opposite c)

Not sure where you went to school at, but they taught you Cosine Laws wrong. It is -2abCos(C) not -4abCos(C).

Did you ever figure out why it was impossible to have enough duration on cam to fill your cylinder from about 6 months ago with the specs you gave?
 
depends on if you think a engine only pulls 28 inches of water . the standard used for checking head flow. what about this one .s = a cos x + (l²- a² sin² x)½

Whats your take bgreer does a piston dwell the same amount of degrees at tdc as bdc. If so whats the formula you used.
 
ok I see what your saying so if the formula for cosines is corrected. then its still is correct with blackstacks sketch.
