About have everything loaded up and ready to go.. Just waiting on a few last goodies to get here. :D Anyone headed to the show this year?? I have heard they are getting close to changing to weight classes.. (maybe next year???) Should be there early tomorrow (friday) morning.. (probably be running around chasing stuff for a while.)
Stop in and Say hello.. Should have some goodies and eye candy on display.. I should have my G at the display.. (It won't hook good at this event.. just way to light, but we'll have fun..)

Paint??? The seat still needs to be painted.. but since everyone give me a hard time about the seat.. I think I'll just clearcoat the rust... She still needs Decals...
Going to have a booth this year.. I'll be ready when its over...

Great, I thought I'd be there first thing in the am.. but that's not going to happen.. but hopefully by 9:30 or so.. I'll end up in the back 40.. haha..

Good Call on the Allis.. (the Brand of this yr..) Is the Allis going to any other contest this year??

Thanks to everyone that came out to support the TEDTEA event..

Charles.. I can't remember if we met or not.. we kind of got stuck in the back.. Nice shady spot.. but a little out of the way.. Brought home most of what we took down.. but Man.. did we talk to a lot of people... Anyone want a good deal on Diesel truck parts.. haha.. tractor parts too.. haha..
If they change the pull to a weighted pull, I think we will see many more tractors at this event.. I hope it turns in to a State Pull, like it is the State Show.. Great Show, Great People.. it can only get better.. right.. haha..

So.. Am I in the wrong Class??

I like the unpainted seat. I say clear coat it.

Thanks for the gasket and the help. I will get with you on the one for my old A. I need to get that thing going again.

No problem.. Funny the first set I had made, they didn't ask what it fit.. So they sent me 3 gaskets.. (I guess they thought it was a big MM.. haha.) The bad thing is that its the ones they punched the holes to big in the middle.. That's one that you have.. It will be better than a stock gasket.. If you o-ring it, just make sure it fits good on the 0-ring. Set it up and see what it looks like..
You'll have to get both of those tractors running.. I'd like to see them pull again.. (but I understand.. its bring the MM or the JD.. haha.. )

Hey Gnut...

What are all those parts on that table? Looks like maybe a head for an A and whats up with the sleeves and rockers? Maybe some smaller pistons for some off brand stuff too. You buy a machine shop and didn't tell me?

We always carry a few extra parts along incase we break something.. haha..

We had a nice display of parts at the show.. I've been working with Ray some at Extreme Tractor Parts, and currently have a hand full of his parts in stock.. haha.. but I will plan to keep some in stock.. Those Rockers are killer sweet.. (did I just say that..) I think you picked out everything correctly.. PB sleeves for an A, and Yes.. a JD A head from ETP.. Those are no off brand pistons.. the are for a JD.. some B pistons and A pistons.. I think the biggest over looked thing was the new G head studs.... Oh.. and the little 10in crank for a G, most of the show guys had never seen anything like that.. haha..

I wondered if it was some ETP parts.
The 10" crank HAS to go into the G this winter. Yes those rockers do look "killer sweet" as you say.
The G head studs are for flat heads? Do they have them available for styled heads also?

Yes.. the studs pictured are for a Flathead or most aftermarket heads.. We can get the studs for a styled head.. they are threaded a little further down on the nut end, so if someone shaves a styled head down, you do not have to use washers.. The biggest thing is that they have the correct interference threads for the block end.. It would probably take two weeks or so to get a set of styled studs..
And if someone doesn't need an entire set that can be done too.

I don't think my G will be getting the 10in crank anytime soon.. but it could use a set of new studs..
