Portersville King of the Mountain pull

How will the pull be run this year? Has anything been put in place to ensure that all of the tractors in the light class are not elininated in one round with a couple of foot pull winning. Since several of our club"s directors and members could not make a difference, who will be the mediator to handle discrepenceis. This is a good pull and I don"t want it to get a bad name or our club.

well i threw my hat in the ring to be the flagman again this year(pretty funny cause i never wear a hat) but hopefully we can have a little pre pull meeting to get everyone on the same page. just remember that we are all volunteers and there is a lot of work goes into making this pull happen. sometimes we make mistakes and that is what happened last year. hope to see everyone there, just dont go throwing any rocks at the flagman! lol
 
Brian, do you know what kind of hook fee there will be this year for Portersville KOM. A while back I heard rumor that the Oliver Club rented the services of WATPA for the weekend and you would have to pay $18 for insurance registration and then the hook fee. Since then I've heard the Oliver Club pulled out.

Am I just hearing gossip or is there any truth to that. Thanks, Chris Serafine
 
Chris, i cant help ya out on that info at all. i have been pretty busy this year and have yet to make a pull this season. far as i remember it was a $5. hook fee in the years past. if im wrong someone will correct that info.
 
The pull is on 8/7/10
It's at the Portersville steam show grounds on RT19 just north of Portersville Pa
You will find no other show like it in the country. Come bring freinds,tractors,and have fun. (The food is good to.)
