i just got my rebuild engine into my tractor (wd) fired it up and there is a popping sound coming from the carb. it has electronic ignition and hot coil. i timed it and it runs better but still there is a pop every 2 seconds or so. there is 100-105 psig in each cyclinder. any ideas?

Did you do a valve job ?

turboed m your h is the right color but i still don't want it. and yes tweed is a go!

Sounds like to me, there was a valve was out of adjustment.
