COTPA strikes again (Shady Operation going on)

Who decide on letting Larry Mouser pick which V-8 tractors pull which session. Looks like to me all real tractors pulled on SAT. I guess it was Larry and the board of Directors night Friday night. Hoping they could make the top 5 that session and letting the top 10 tractors battle it out for the other five. If it wasnt for the repull the JD driver would have been in the bleachers watching Sat nite. Hell if he didnt make it the directors would have let him pull on Sat again to try to make the show. And the other JD with the yellow roll cage looks pretty long. I guess putting the motor way out front really doesn't help where did u finish last. By the way why didn't you tell people you were going to have a test and tune pull on Thursday night we would have tried to make it. Oh thats right only the chosen ones. I believe I saw the case V-8 HotRod pulling Thursday night that won on Friday. Is this really the way to encourage people to join this club. I hope some of you all open yours eyes before its to late and quit blaming the others and quit pointing fingers. Do what you say you are going to do grow some balls. If a person word is no good that means he is no good.

You know the board members are going to play the rules so their 23 degree outdated stuff can still get them a pay check.

This is for the people that has called and ask if I am "WD45 needs help" as you can see I am "472 Big Block" if you know me at all I fight my own fights. But needless to say he has some very good issues!I was at the pull when this was posted.I donot go to these pages intill some one calls me and tells me.So if you want to talk about issues call my phone # 937-368-2447.When they see "Allis Chalmers" automatically think its me. thanks,Barney Taylor.

I was under the understanding most of Saturday night pullers were originally going to De Quoin. Sounds like they were being accommodating.

I saw the post and thought that wd45 needs help might have been whinning. But after reading the post I think it sound like the GOOD OLE BOYS have won again. Typical backwoods pulling outfit. Make your own rules as you go.

wd 45 tractor needs help you must have nailed them good . post been on here all week and the board cant even reply in defense of their actions.

This is for Mr. WD45 needs help; For starters Larry Mouser was appointed by the Board to run this class under the board’s direction, the board members that have Hot Rod tractors have no vote in hot rod policy and have not even been to any of these meetings. Most of the tractors that pulled on Sat afternoon had planed on going to Ill on Fri and Larry showed me his list for each night and it looked good to me, and since I know allot more about this than you ever will, you are wrong! On Sat night three of the top 5 came from Fri night so you are wrong again, that"s too! The JD that got to rehook was because the sled operator was under strict orders about safety, he thought the tractor was going out of bounds and pulled his kill switch, but he didn"t go out so he got a rehook and that was my call. Once again you are wrong that"s three! As for the Thursday test hooks, Singers needed to get there sled set on this track with some tractors that would be pulling. I think Louisville does the same. I can tell you that no one from the COTPA Board or the Dekalb Staff had a test hook. The top 5 on Friday night and Saturday afternoon Hot Rod Heat classes got no money until the pull off on Sat night and the those 10 tractors all got a test run before Sat night. You know none of us on the board or Staff get a dime for all that we do and we are not even close to being perfect. Now, about that balls thing, you know my name and my cell # is 937-597-4061 so let’s see your name and phone #

Well i would like to say that we hauled our tractor 300 miles one way down there pulled friday nite made the cut and pulled sat nite had a great time got treated very well by the cotpa staff thanks from the silver fox v8 hotrod tractor pulling team............

I think its funny how the "hot rod" boys can "never" get along. Its the same way in my area. Im sure glad I pull antiques. And I thought we had people that complained. Too bad they aint more exciting to watch!

This type thing goes on in alot of clubs.

We pull antiques and had the same problem, but several of us cought " saw it happen" and brought it up .

Our sleds pan down presure can be controlled from inside the cab on the sled. Well some pullers were getting more "pan" then others.

We have sence made a febel effort to correct that but in my opnion the problem is still there.

We also rotate the sled operators now.

It blows my mind what some will do for a $20.00 trophy.
