Has anyone put 8in stroke in a styled JD G? If you have, do you have to grind any on the case or rods to use stock G rods? I was wanting to know before I did it and then had to grind all over the place. Thanks

Idid it on a 70 use 60 rods stock pistons take bottom oil ring off i think i had to grind very little on top that set up fits real nice.

With the A/60 rods, you'll have to grind the top of the case.. and the cam.. with the G/70 rods, you'll have to grid both, and maybe ends of the rod bolts.. (never tried one with the G rods.)

I'd only use that small of a crank if I got a really good deal on a crank..
Good luck,
