Freeburg Tractor Pull

I want to thank everyone that came out to the tractor pull this year. We had a total of 168 hooks Friday night. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and had a fun time! Let me know if you have any comments of suggestions for next year! Thanks.

Had lots of fun, been pulling there for years. The track was the best one I have seen there. Would be nice if you would change the 6500lb 6mph to a 6000lb class. I think you only had one hook in the 6500lb. You might get a few more to pull 6000lb. Going from 5500lb to 6500lb scares people off, a lot of guys don"t want to throw that much iron.

Not sure what track the other guy was pulling on but I thought it was dry as dry can get. Tracks with moisture in them (need to get it down in top 4 to 6 inches) are easier to maintain, pack better, and lets the track become a tractor pull instead of an obsticle course full of holes.

Don't feel bad though, every other track this year has been like that except Pinckneyville and Tamaro pulls that I went to. Marion was joke in the little classes. They did not even roll the track between hooks!

That is just my two cents worth.
