Loss to Texas Tractor Pulling Family

Condolences to the Potter Family (Doug & Keith) for their tragic loss of their wife/mother (Dorothy Potter) in a tragic accident at an Antique tractor pull this past weekend. The Potters own Potters Tractor Company (the New Holland Dealership) in Columbus, TX and have been tractor pulling for years, and are owners/part owners of one of the sleds that we pull.
I’m really at a loss of words, after hearing about this accident… You and the rest of the TATPA members are in our thoughts and prayers, with your loss. The driver of the tractor is also in our prayers. (it was just an accident.. I just can’t imagine…. I’m still in shock, and I wasn’t even at the event.)

Guys PLEASE be careful at these events, especially those that work these events, and are around the sled and other machinery at these events.

Again our thoughts and prayer go out to everyone…

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Next to the loading and unloading of tractors at a pull, the area and activities around a pulling sled are the most dangerous. Guys and gals, PLEASE BE CAREFUL! We are dealing with machinery that is not forgiving. It only takes a (one) second and someones life/family is changed forever. Watch out for one another's safety.
 
deepest deepest sympathy....i am at a loss of words too, and i don't know anyone of them. my prayers are with you.
 
Again, to add to Bryan's post, I am very sorry to hear about this. I got a call on Sunday and I am still in shock. I was not at this pull, but was with many of these guys at a pull the weekend before. My heart goes out to the Potter family, the TATPA and all those in attendance.
