D282 vs D301

Have any of you guys put in a D301 in place of a D282 to up grade power? Is there a problem with it bolting up ? Is it the same block , just a different bore and stroke ? thanks in advance

Used a 301d out of a 403 IH combine.Yes it will bolt into a 460 0r 560.Just change out the front motor timeing cover from tractor and the rear plate.What you have to deal with is the oil filter base from tractor to combine.You plug one hole and add a new return hole in the block.A nother idea is pull the sleeves out of the 282 bore and hone block for 301 pistons and fill in the top sleeve land.
