JD A's with fast 6spd

Can you switch any gears in the A's with the fast 6spds? to make it geared lower like the late ones?

Go back a page and look at the topic "Pulling Tips". Skip over the bs by the 2 juveniles and at the bottom there's info about switching the 1st reduction gears. As far as swapping out the transmission gears themselves they aren't interchangeable. Mike

JDTH AND MIKE i appreciate the straight answeres you gave . i asked a question you guys answered kent explained a little more for i didnt realize the setup . then two others chimed in and it went downhill from there. yes i can still talk the trash to keep the playground bullys at bay and like agitating as much as pulling. honest mitch. :lol:

O come on now give me a break.. if i had some money for a longer crank i wouldnt have to worry about gearing it down... i think we are getting a power block for this one(a 48 A) and i think if we geared it down we could put some bigger tires on it.
