Farmall Super C, M

I picked up a Super C for my first pulling tractor for an antique class. I got new 13.6 36's Field&Roads for it. Do you think this tractor, as a 123ci, has enough power to turn these tires under a load or in general without stalling?
putting it in the 3000lb class

Also, I have 2 Farmall M's, X1A and a regular M with a 8574 head and double domed pistons. I have 16.9 38's for them, Are these to big for the M to turn and under a load?
5500lb class.

Basically im wondering if these tires are good for these tractors and if they will do good without any engine work.

Thanks

Don't know about the Super C, but if the M's have
low gears in them they should be fine. Just tune
them up pretty good and should be ok.

I think the C would do okay in 3000lbs with that size tire. My Super C has original 10x36 Firestones that hookup pretty good but i also run in 3500lbs. class because of the fast hitch.

A lot depends on your local track conditions and sled. That said, I think that if the two tractors are stock that you have too much tire for both of them. I pull a stock m and a stock super C. The 11.2x 36 is a perfect match for the super C most of the time and 14.9 x 38 is all the M wants at 6500 lbs. This is div 1 specs with 16 inch high drawbar. Higher drawbars will take more power.

If you're not doing any work to the engine I would suggest you put smaller tires on it. The larger tires are going to rob horse power. Drop your tire pressure to about 4 lbs and try to move some weight to the front of the tractor.
