COCKSHUTT 570 PULLING TRACTOR INFO

I WOULD LIKE SOME INFO ON A G34OO HERC. ENGINE I WOULD LIKE TO BUILD A COCKSHUTT 570 FOR PULLING I DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THIS ENGINE BUT I HEARD ITS VERY STRONG THANKS
 
The 3400 series Hercs are very good engines and will bolt right in a 570. Strong 7 main bottom ends and cross flow heads. Only bad part about them is they are tight internally so they don't lend themselves well for big cube engines. One thing you need to watch is that for a tractor application you get the correct head. Some gas heads have the intake on the same side as the dist so when you flip the intake over, the updraft carb hangs where the dist. should go. There is some info on here in the archives about building them bigger.
