Paint for 7120 CASEIH

What kind of paint would anyone use on the Caseih 7120.With most of it being plastic is there a special paint or primer.Thanks JIm

glennster is correct, any place that sells automotive paint will have an adhesion promoter which you use when working with plastic. Modern cars have plastic bumpers and if you use an adhesion promoter first you can just prime and paint it like it was metal. Of course you have to first scuff sand the plastic a little with some fine sandpaper. I had a 37 year old plastic grille on a kubota tractor which was very faded. I just painted it when I did some painting on the tractor and it's holding up well.

bull dog works with any automotive paint or automotive primer. you can add bulldog to automotive paint for a flex additive on bumper covers and such.

be sure to thoroughly. clean the part before prepping. there is a mold release agent on the plastic. wash with hot water and dawn dish soap. then sand with a red scotchbrite pad, then follow up with a wax and grease remover , we use 900 pre kleano
by rm. and by the way, bulldog is really stinky! wear a respirator.
