The truck I use to haul my tractors with developed a case of rust over the rear fender wells. Two years ago I glued new skins over them but ran out of time, weather, and energy. So I put some Rustoleum white paint on to hold them till I could get back to them. Well a lot of projects have been more important but I finally got the motivation to finish them. I try to save a dollar when I can so I tried using paint thinner and then naphtha to clean up but they wouldn't work. Only the reducer shown would work to clean my spray gun up. Is there a less expensive solvent to use with this paint?

Generic lacquer thinner should work if you don't procrastinate for too long. The rust over the wheel wells is not that hard to prevent.

we use a product called naked gun cleaner. voc compliant, i. use it in our uni ram gun cleaner and you can also use it to manually clean a spray gun. here is a link
