I cant see much difference in silver and the rust o elem aluminum.
I used aluminum on the inside of new powder coated rear rim on Farmall C to touch up shipping scratching.
Whats your opinion?

i use the rustolum aluminum gloss rattle can, paint out of the quart with a brush , or mixed and sprayed out of a gun. last a very long time and can be readly touched up years down the road and still matches and blends in well

Used a 120 wet dry paper sanded it to remove prior rinkles ,brush waves, runs , , older rim has rivets ,not welded loops . But its a 9 inch, other side was rusted out was 8 inch .
Ill prime it with red rust oleum and sand it smother, that smooth out some pits to.,think it will look presentable

Sprayed aluminum test of x o rust on the rim after sanding with wet dry 120. Didnt like it magnifies the chips and pits. So I stopped , sprayed some rusty oleum primer on the rim .The primer lifted and ran at the small area where the aluminum was spayed ,ugh ! Dont mixed x o rust and rust oleum, ? More unnecessary work
