Martin Senour Grey

I saw some posts around here saying that M2J945 martin senour
paint from Napa was perfect match. So i went to Napa and got a gallon, got home popped top and it looks to me to be way way to dark. It looks almost army jeep green sort of. I have a new powder coated headlight and the M2J945 color is just completely different. The color does have the olive tint to it just very dark, I may just go with it dont know yet. Then i searched around internet some more and found another code Grey 99L 3732 martin senour. Is anyone here experienced in these two codes? Is the 99L 3732 a closer lighter color than M2J945 ? I just cant see this M2J945 being correct as dark as it is. The guy at Napa said the code M2J945 came up ford implement/tractor grey, so I thought yes thats gotta be right. I think this paint job just got very expensive.

If you think you might need more paint you could add white to it and lighten it. Problem is it would probably take three parts white to one part gray to make it very much lighter.

here are a couple ppg color codes for ford, 30448, 32675,32571( 32571 shows as a 1965 color)i dont have a crossover for martin senour, napa can probably cross it.

It sounds like your paint may be a perfect match...................for a 9N, or a Fordson or a 2N. They lightened it for the 8N-NAA,XX0.

Here are the codes are used
PPG 32675 Ford Gray
PPG 70075 Vermillion Red
PPG 8568 Silver Gray some call it Argent Silver for
rear rims

Can you post a couple of pictures of your rear rims with the " silver gray" ?

Thanks Mark

Thanks for the PPG codes, I did already purchase the colors I need but I'm very curious what these look like.

WOW !
They look fantastic , very sharp shine to the gray !!!
Now I can clearly see what the silver looks like , thank you.
Did you use a clear over any of the paint ??
Thanks again, Mark

No clear coat. Just used hardner with the paint. If
you use Hardner you must use a supplied air
breathing system to paint
