Ferguson paint

Hope to get some paint on my Ferguson TO35 by fall. Have a friend that is in Corporate world of Sherman Williams and has offered quite a discount. I don't want to repaint in few years. Tractor will be a non working toy and always stored inside an enclosed building. Is Sherman Williams a quality long lasting paint?

I believe that Sherman Wiiliams bought an automotive paint line a few years ago. But the brand name means little, it is the type of paint that matters. It sounds like you want 2K polyurethane.

Years ago I purchased a quart of Sherwin Williams paint for an implement. My memory does not recall the implement or paint color. I do remember having to pay for it before they custom mixed it for me. It is probably the best paint I have ever brushed on implement parts. To my knowledge no one in my area any longer sells automotive SW paint but I would buy some again in a local dealer and I had a need.

Sherwin Williams makes a lot of different paint, some good and some not so good. Using Sherwin Williams I would either use their Automotive line of paint or Sher-Kem enamel.
