High Temp IH Yellow

Hey all. Hope everyone is able to Quarantine themselves with your tractors! I am adding some flood lights to the sides of my 444's loader, and would like to paint the housings the same or close to same shade of IH yellow found on those late 60's and early 70's IH tractors. I've found some Seymour stuff on Amazon, but can't really see much difference between the 3 High Temp yellows they list. Does anyone have a high temp IH Yellow they like to use that might be readily available? Thanks!

Kerplooey, the brighter colors like yellow, tend to fade a lot so the liklihood of a close match to your actual current shade is not great. If you really want a good match you will have to take an outer panel to a paint jobber and get it digitally analyzed.

IH 483 and 483B are actually the exact same yellow, hence, the same number. But why the need for a high
temp paint? IH painted Cub Cadet engines with 483 Federal Yellow that got around 250 degrees, way too hot
to touch and they held up O-K. If all you are painting is two headlights a single spray can of 483
yellow should do it, available at your nearest Cub Cadet or Case/IH dealer for about $8-9 Dollars.
