Engine paint

Can anyone tell me if anyone offers a high heat paint for painting the engine block. Would like the color to be Oliver specific...thanks

You really don't need a special paint.
An engine doesn't (or shouldn't) get that
hot. I've painted a bunch of tractors and
just used the same paint on the engine as
the rest of the tractor and never had a
problem with the paint on the engine.

I've seen tractors that have been restored and all the tin work looks good, the engine in some of these appear to be discolored or chalky looking. What causes this? I just assumed it to be the heat. Is it the make-up of the paint, no hardener, no clear coat, etc? After restore, we will be using this tractor off and on. We would like to avoid this issue if at all possible. Any input would be appreciated...thank you

Get the engine CLEAN. When I rebuilt mine I had the case hot dipped and after I rebuilt the engine I scrubbed it again . Use a good two part primer. Make sure it is not sanding or build up primer. I painted it with tractor supply enamel with hardener.
It still looks good 12 years later.
