My son has a 2013 chevy cruze it is black.I cant get the dead bugs all the way off the front of it,which is mostly plastic. Also on the hood there is a spot on it maybe tree sap?I have rain x bug and tar remover it does nothing. What do you guys use?I know i will have to try it in an inconspicuous spot.THANKS

Black is just going to show everything. To a certain extent you just have to learn to live with bugs on the surface. If you get obsessive about rubbing bugs off with rubbing compound it won't be long before primer spots will show. The compound takes a little paint off too. The paint would be happier if it was hand washed after one of these rains that last a day or two where the bugs could be thoroughly soaked first.

Just got the car 2 weeks ago, never had a black car before.Wont buy black again. Its a nice car,we like to keep the cars clean. Thanks to everyone for the comments and advice.

You could try to use wet cloth soaked in water and dish detergent mix. Using the cloth it will stay damp longer.
