Thanks, Glenster for the advice on the primer and paint choices for the 'T' and thanks everyone else for the other advice. I need all the advice I can get! LOL

Anyway, here is a pic of the T leaving my shop for the trip home.
The silver on the headlight rims is spray can chrome, very fragile paint. I don't know how long it will hold up. The bumpers were nickel plated but it was mostly gone so I sand blasted away what was left. As I understand the bumpers are after market? I think the radiator shell should be nickel too but it's black now. This car will not be shown at shows, it's a family heirloom that will be stored away, to be driven a few miles a few times every summer.

It will be at the Albert City Threshing Show this coming weekend though I don't know where it will be parked. The show will have some other T's there that will make this one look shabby.

I forgot the picture. It was taken at dusk so the lighting isn't good.

Looks exactly like one my maternal grandfather insisted on driving even after everyone else in the family upgraded.

(quoted from post at 09:47:50 08/17/18) That car belong to Carl Lind? I think the sign said he gave $25.00 for it in 1952.

Yep, only it was 1951. Oh heck, what’s another year. He drove it to college in St Paul where he met his wife. They dated in that car. It was used to bring lunch out to the field during the first threshing show 48 years ago. His grandson drove it in all three parades at the show.
