Does anyone know the name of the red and cream that was used on the Ford 8N`s. I am going back with polyurethane and need to match it up. I think the red is Ford Safety Red but I have no idea about the cream color

The red is called vermillion. Ford has never painted a tractor "cream" colored. The shade of gray of the 8Ns is called medium gray, which is lighter than the 9Ns and darker than the XX1s. Be careful of making the error of using the light gray or white that came into use in 1964, unless you are trying to disguise your 8N as a 2000.

No I wont use a white at all but I had to buy some new front rims and they came with a cream or almond color on them and I really like it. I can go to google images and I see some 8N`s with that color.

Yes, that looks like the correct medium grey. I think myself that the correct gray looks a lot lighter in a photo than when you are looking at the tractor in person. I believe that is why so many get painted X000 white.
