Rustolem Equipment painr

I don't know about the rattle can paint but I used the can paint and seems to work well. More than a year ago I repainted my Kubota again with it. The Valspar paint which I was covering was peach colored in that time frame. I don't believe the Rustoleum paint has started to fade yet.

They don't make the paint color for my Kubota. Sometime about 20 years ago Kubota changed their paint color to a darker orange. I have to take a quart of Kubota Orange and mix it 50/50 with John Deere Yellow to get the original color.

Sounds about right.

I once went to Sherwin Williams factory automotive paint school. It was a "hands on" school, and they spent two full days just on color matching. The last part of the color matching part was, the instructors had taken a half dozen fenders, both metallic and non-metallic, changed the original formula slightly, and painted the fenders. We students had to figure out what they'd done and mix paint to a blendable match.

It was time well spent. I had a full time shop back then, and my local Sherwin Williams dealer said he'd split the tuition to the school if I'd agree to buy my paint from him for a year. We both won.
